Parents, as the Christmas season is approaching, a few of our kids have helped put together a Christmas “Be A Blessing” project.
Purpose: bless those in need around us and help them experience the warmth of Christmas.
Who: a few RVs families live on the street nearby our church and homeless on Wolfe
What: send a care package along with a personal notes
So far so good, what is next step: discuss with your children this weekend and decide if your family like to participate.
Simply have your child sign up with coworker Ms. Karen and she will pass on all the info you need. The kids already came up with suggestions for the care package and in addition to your note, they will prepare a standard gospel message to go along as well.
When: Target to collect all packages by 12/18 for distribution during day time 12/19.

Let’s help our kids learn what it means to love in deed and in truth.

P.S. I have already met one of the RV families nearby our church. Mom and grown son have lived there for 8 months now. He works for Costco and mom is out of work. No family nearby either.
